A man has been arrested in the Buenos Aires district of Esteban EcheverrÃa, accused of the femicide of his ex-partner in the Nueva Pompeya neighborhood. The arrest was carried out by officers from the Homicide Division of the Investigations Superintendency, who identified the suspect while he was driving his father's car. According to police sources, an operation was conducted, and when the order to stop was given, the suspect attempted to escape but was intercepted after a chase. In less than 24 hours, the City Police detained a man accused of femicide G2025-0790. The body of the 28-year-old victim was found that same morning in a house in Nueva Pompeya, after the attacker's father went to the location and found the four children alone, whom he took to a relative's home. 'Upon returning to the house, he noticed that the warehouse that served as a bodyshop and paint shop was closed, so he opened it with an angle grinder and found the woman's body without life,' the report highlights. The National Prosecutor's Office in Criminal and Correctional Matters No. 51 ordered a series of urgent measures, including the analysis of security cameras, in which the accused was seen arriving and leaving the house minutes later in his father's vehicle. With these records and the tracking of his cell phone, investigators managed to reconstruct his route and arrested him.
